Interview with Two Dope Boys in a Caddylack

The Stanford Review’s exclusive interview with Billy Kemper and Josh Meisel.

Why are your slate running for ASSU Executive? What are your slate’s goals at this point?

We want to give the students a voice. This school thinks they can just tell the kids what to do; whatever the principle says goes. But we’re not gonna take it anymore. Kids rule!

Which issues affecting the Stanford University do you believe will be at the forefront of voters’ minds as they evaluate your slate?

A lot of people are worried about the economy. What are marginal costs? How do you determine a graph? Stuff like that. I took econ 1a last quarter, and I’ve tutored a couple kids on the upper row this quarter. I KNOW HOW TO DETERMINE A GRAPH :P

What do you think it is going to take to win over voters this election season given the current coverage questioning the credibility of the ASSU?

We’re promising free brownies and lemonade in the student lounge everyday Thursday, but we doubt we can live up to our guarantee ;)

Is there anything else you’d like to share with the Review’s readers?

We need your votes. Billy’s been depressed lately, and I have 50 bucks riding on the election. Please vote for us. I mean it about the brownies by the way.
