White Plaza teemed with activity today as students protested ROTC and the Flipside hosted their annual mock activities fair.

Organized by Stanford Students for Queer Liberation (SSQL), about 10 protestors walked around White Plaza with flags and and a megaphone, yelling things like, “ROTC is discriminatory.” Among the protestors was Autumn Sandeen, a transgender Navy veteran who has called for transgender rights in the military for many years.

Behind the activity fair were some Stanford police, trying to promote their bicycle safety program.
