Elections Commissioner Stephen Trusheim has just sent out an email stating that as of 6:00 PM, Thursday, 3,474 ballots have been cast. Last year, 6,026 votes were cast in total, so by now at least half of the votes have been cast. This year could have a decreased total vote count because there is no major slate competing against SOCC for the ASSU Senate. But the strength of the competing executive candidates and their ability to mobilize voters could make up for the lack of competition in the senate.

The ballot closes at 11:59 PM, Friday evening. Vote at ballot.stanford.edu.
