In Numbers: Liberal Bias Among College Professors

We’ve talked about this a lot, but a new study, waiting to be published in *Perspectives on Psychological Science, *and co-authored by a Wharton professor, sheds a little more light on the issue. Bias against conservative thought is prevalent among college professors, and in the words of the authors themselves: ‘”The questions were pretty blatant. We didn’t expect people would give those answers,” said Yoel Inbar.’

The numbers are not an overwhelming majority, but considering the nature of the questions, they’re still alarming. Take a look for yourself: http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2012/08/08/survey-finds-social-psychologists-admit-anti-conservative-bias#ixzz22zJpUGtt
