Stanford to Offer Harbaugh a Sweetened Contract

Bob Bowlsby has announced that Harbaugh has been offered a sweetened contract. No details are currently forthcoming, but it seems obvious that Harbaugh will receive a pay raise and possibly a contract extension as well (although given that he has four years remaining on his current contract, this part is not as important). Harbaugh has not officially accepted the deal, but has “indicated he will accept it.” We’ll report more as the details appear, but it seems as though the “Fighting Harbaughs” may be here to stay (at least for a while). I guess that debate can wait.
